The latest cartoon for The Digital Thinker

My farewell drawing.

Almost three years ago I restarted the drawing of political caricature, in The Digital Thinker.

After a long period of time I had left her abandoned.

Many and varied were the drawbacks that had brought me this drawing and criticizing politicians of one party or another.

Someone was always offended, they always took as a personal attack some of my drawings to different leaders. So it was these little things and also other more important things that made me move away, from this style or branch, from graphic humor.

One good day, came the opportunity of The Digital Thinker. That morning I said to myself, "Why not?"

Although I was very out of training, politics has always been for me, the order of the day, it is something that I love, and even more than politics, I am passionate about what is called political economy. That is, how money moves from one place to another.

So mixing my expertise to get into trouble, my passion for graphic humor and my long experience in the matter (that at nine years old I already had my first small problem with a drawing I made in school) together with Manuel, the Director of El Pensador, we started this new adventure.

Politicians and others.

We not only drew politicians, we also made journalists of those, of profession We invented machines and future fashion trends, recreated Spartans and drew dinosaurs and even made a caganer for Christmas.

A caganer is a figurine that is usually placed in nativity scenes, as a tradition in Catalonia, usually hidden in a corner, behind a bush, and in a position to be shitting.

Cartoons by Santiago Abascal, Pablo Casado and Ortega Smith.

Journalism or Periobulism

The periobulists As I call them, they are those who invent the news They change it according to their opinion, they tell half-truths, or they just lie.

Cartoon by Antonio Ferreras and Eduardo Inda
I also drew some "journalist" or "periobulist" as I like to tell them.
Cartoon by Mauricio Casals and Paco Marhuenda

Laura Borrás and Pere Aragonés.

This cartoon was the first big success. Laura Borrás herself humorously fit the drawing and shared it on her social networks.

Machines, fashion, and new trends.

My passage through EL Pensador Digital, gave us very rewarding and fun moments, that we had a great time with Manuel the director, with whom we shared long talks and laughed in quantity.

We invented the -Ministers Machine- the great minister creation machine inspired by the television series Breaking Bad and in the film Gremlins and we create the VOXKINI – the future summer fashion of VOX, which here looks like Espinosa de los Monteros (and that is why he left the party) as well as strange flying machines.

Cartoon by Laura Borrás and Pere Aragonés

Discovering new territories and planets.

We show the solution to -The perfect woman- and even found new territories independents than non-independence, but not to stay shorts we also discovered New Planets. Everything always, based on the most extreme scientific, geographical, political rigor and be very well documented.

Cartoon by Díaz Ayuso.
caricature of Espinosa de los Monteros, santiago Abascal, ortega Smith and Feijoo.
Cartoon of several pro-independence and right-wing politicians.

Another success but this one was one of insults and applause.

On this occasion, the cartoonist herself also shared the publication. We received hundreds of messages of congratulations, applause and greetings to my holy mother, to my family and the only one who came out unscathed was Gala, my Cat Secretary

We were witnesses, too.

We witness battles, battalions and real clashes and we discover how all history can be rewritten, even if all textbooks tell you otherwise.

Cartoon of two armies of chickens facing each other.
Cartoon by Francisco José Contreras.

Movies and movie buffs.

As good moviegoers, we recreate and are inspired by scenes from very famous films, such as Gosth o What the wind took away The Wind I Don't Know What … Jurasic Park y The Flintstones.

Caricature of Gosth, with two political leaders.
Caricature of a scene from Gone with the Wind, with Catalan politics Anna Gabriel.
caricature of Santiago Abascal and Tamames.
Cartoon by Quim Torra and Xavier Antich.

Until LOVE came.

THERE IS! Love. That it would be this world without him. Lies, betrayals, disappointments… all that and much more, were present, in THE Digital Thinker.

Cartoon by fernández Díaz y Villarejo.
Cartoon of Garamendi and the UGT.
Cartoon by Santiago Abascal and Nunez Feijoo.
Cartoon of politicians from Sumar, calling a chicken from Podemos.
Caricature of Garamendi, president of CEOE.

We say goodbye.

So far a selection of some drawings that I published. The last drawing, that of the farewell, you will find it at the end of this post. And since I am not very good at saying goodbye, to better tell it, I leave you the own words of Manuel the Director of El Pensador digital, who has written in his farewell:

Dear readers of The Digital Thinker:

Today, in this last post of our digital newspaper, I address you with mixed feelings. On the one hand, we are celebrating the success and dedication that we have poured into each of the articles, news and reports that we have shared with you over the years. On the other hand, we are saying goodbye to a stage that has been extremely rewarding.

At this time, I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to two people who have been instrumental in the construction and maintenance of this project: our talented cartoonist Orons and our tireless editor Ivan.

Orons, your illustrations have brought our stories to life in a unique way. Every stroke, every detail, has enriched our articles and made our content even more appealing. Your drawings have been the window to emotions and concepts that would otherwise be difficult to convey, although sometimes topics that ideologically were not entirely agreed upon were touched upon. Thank you for your creativity and passion.

Ivan, you've been the pen that shaped our ideas. Your ability to research, synthesize and present information clearly and captivatingly has been essential to keeping our readers informed and entertained. You have been a fundamental pillar in the construction of the identity of The Digital Thinker.

To our readers, we want to thank you for your faithfulness and for allowing us to be a part of your life throughout these years. We hope that our content has been enjoyable and informative, that it has inspired, informed and entertained them.

As a token of our gratitude, we want to share with you a special farewell drawing, created by our dear Orons. In this drawing, we express our gratitude and appreciation for all the support they have given us throughout this beautiful journey.

We hope that they will continue to find inspiration and knowledge in other digital corners and that they will continue to be avid consumers of information. Our team bids farewell with gratitude in the heart, but also in the hope that our paths will cross again in the future.

So long, dear readers, and once again, thank you!

With gratitude,

Manuel

Director of "The Digital Thinker"

The farewell of THE Digital Thinker.

And this was the drawing, which at times was difficult to finish, but not because it was the last; because I had to draw all these and on balls. (Things I can think of)
