Those of us who dedicate ourselves to graphic humor and cartoons, we must be more than grateful to this wonderful day.

It's not because we have great and wonderful sales.

Personally, I've never sold anything this day.

But like all mortals, I fell into the stupidity of spending hours and hours, looking for something that I did not need, nor wanted, nor did it serve me at all, for the simple fact of saying: – “Look what I bought on Black Friday”

Followed by the essential and very necessary: -’And price pulling’

That he was bragging about being a ‘big bargain hunter’ on this day.

Thanks.

Buy that the world ends!

Kilometer tails, endless, nervousness, people fighting for their place, screaming pushes, and all this, when the store has not yet opened its doors.

Within minutes of opening, the fights that endanger the glass door begin, within seconds, the pressure on the frames is so strong that they seem to break.

The corral opens, that is, the door, but on this day, everything works the other way around. They do not push themselves to leave, everything is valid to enter.

The first ones usually fall on the ground, those who follow them trample on them, stumble and also fall.

So one after another, like a house of cards, they fall to form a ramp, amorphous, mobile and tramplable, so that the last, are the first.

And these things for a cartoonist, they're gold.

This is our Black Friday!

Price drop?

That of bargains, super offers, incredible opportunities …like that at this point, and few believe it.

But even if we do not believe it, even if we doubt, suspect, do not trust enough, everything indicates that "humans", homo erectus, like to be scammed.

Why I made this drawing about Black Friday.

Graphic humor. Drawing of an inflator and a balloon where Black Friday is read.

A few months ago, I bought a drawing tablet. Some time later I saw that the price had risen like a 40%, so I thought ´: Will it be because of the drawing tablet mines you have Putin in Siberia?

Now, two days ago, they sent me an email, offering me the same tablet, the same model, on Black Friday, at the same price I had paid months ago and that had gone up in price.

Will the "archiknown" mysterious case of the tablet, which increases its price by itself, on pre-established dates?

Attentive Fourth Millennium (mystery program, ghosts and such) "The case of the living tablet"

Will Putin be the price inflator of tablets for drawing, extracted from the mines of Siberian tablets?

Watch out, with Black Friday. Less warmum, longer vivaum

The origin of Black Friday.

The day that has nothing to do with shopping.

The fourth Thursday of November, which is the Friday after the Thanksgiving Day, is celebrated in the United States, and now practically in half the world, the day where consumerism becomes the protagonist.

Millions of people will connect to the internet, in pages that collapse and break sales records. They will fill stores, shopping malls, which supposedly offer huge discounts to attract customers

We are talking about Black friday or "Black Friday" (according to its translation in Spanish) an exacervate consumerist ritual that is repeated every year.

It all started in the United States, and yet very few people know the history of this day, of this term, Black Friday, and how it ended up becoming a tradition worldwide and an excellent business, at least, for a few.

Today this shopping day has spread to virtually everyone. Did you know that its origin has nothing to do with buying?

Theories of the origin of Black Friday.

One of the first theories about the origin of this fashion or shopping tradition is the one that affirms that this day has an origin. slaver.

There is no data or document confirming this hypothesis. But apparently it was the day when black slave traders were just lowering their prices on Thanksgiving for the winter season.

Cartoon, graphic humor about Black Friday and the price rise.

Second theory; On Friday, September 24, 1869, two Wall Street stockbrokersJay Gould y Jim Fisk) attempted to “monopolise” the gold market allying with a famous New York politician, Boss Tweed.

Although they failed in the attempt. The three attempted to bribe several important characters, including some judges.

But the plan failed, as the price of gold plummeted within minutes. Many investors were ruined, with what the day would become known as "Black Friday"

Third theory: According to the Telegraph newspaper, on Saturday after the holiday there was going to be a football game between the army and the navy.

The city of Philadelphia collapsed on Friday in the face of an avalanche of people who arrived to do their Christmas shopping and attend the next day.

In the face of immense chaos, no police could take the day off on the eve of the match and the officers had to work extraordinary, twelve-hour days to control the crowds that crowded a totally collapsed city, so they baptized that day with the name of "Black Friday"

The initiative was very successful and soon Philadelphia merchants began using that term to describe the hordes of people who gathered in the city's stores the day after Thanksgiving.

Still, the expression Black Friday was used almost a century later, a day after Thanksgiving, in the mid-1950s.

But Black Friday didn't spread and popularize until several years later.

Exactly this happened in 1966, when it first appeared in print in the magazine. The American Philatelist.

But what could be called the official inauguration, came from the hand of the prestigious newspaper The New York Times,He used this same expression on November 19, 1975.

His intention was to refer to the traffic problem that was generated in the North American city as a result of the discounts of the day after Thanksgiving, but what he really meant was to bring back to the present day the term Black Friday.
