About WO Orons

WO Orons is an illustration and graphic design studio specializing in drawing, caricature and illustration.

Behind WO Orons there is a career dedicated to drawing and image creation, combining traditional artistic training with graphic design and digital tools.

The work is developed from the drawing and construction of the image, seeking that each illustration has its own identity and responds to what each project needs.

Drawing-based training

The artistic training began in childhood and continued from the age of eleven with studies of drawing and classical painting with the painter and sculptor Telma Paroli of Acerboni, for seven years.

At that stage, disciplines such as drawing, oil painting, charcoal and graphite were worked on, acquiring an academic base that is still part of the way WO Orons works.

Subsequently came the formation in graphic design, expanding the experience from drawing and painting to composition, visual communication and design.

Traditional and digital illustration

WO Orons works with both traditional and digital techniques.

Traditional drawing forms part of the basis of the process, while digital tools allow images to be developed, transformed and finished more freely.

This combination allows different types of projects to be addressed: from a custom caricature or portrait to an editorial illustration, a graphic reinterpretation related to cinema, series or comics, or the creation of characters and visual concepts.

Cartoon and custom illustration

The cartoon occupies an important place within the work of WO Orons.

A caricature is not simply about reproducing a photograph. Interpretation, exaggeration of traits, expression, composition and integration of elements related to the person are part of creation.

Each commission is presented as an illustration of its own, adapted to the person and the idea that you want to represent.

No templates or pre-designed elements.

Cinema, series, comics and illustration

Another part of WO Orons' work is related to the graphic reinterpretation of characters, scenes and imaginaries from cinema, series and comics.

They are works that allow you to explore different visual languages, from drawing and caricature to more realistic illustration or graphic interpretations of comic character.

The objective is not to reproduce an image without more, but to develop a own artistic performance from the character, scene or idea.

Concept Art and image creation

Drawing also allows you to develop ideas that do not yet exist visually.

That's why WO Orons works with concept art, characters, creatures, objects and visual proposals, building images from an idea and developing its graphic aspect.

This part of the work directly connects drawing with imagination, design and visual construction.

A way of working based on self-creation

The common feature of the different jobs is the creation of the image from the drawing.

Templates are not used to solve the orders nor is it intended to replace the creative process with pre-designed elements.

Each project requires making decisions about drawing, composition, proportions, expression, color, lighting and finishing.

The technique is at the service of the idea and the idea at the service of the image.

WO Orons

WO Orons illustration, caricature and graphic design under the same way of understanding visual creation.

Traditional drawing provides the technical basis. Graphic design provides composition and visual communication. Digital tools expand the possibilities of development and finishing.

The result is a work that can move between different languages without losing the same premise: create own images, drawn and built for each project.
